Website changes
Submitted by Andi Hazelwood on Thu, 26/06/2008 - 4:45pm.Due to lack of use by the members and because the web mistress will be away for several months, interactive functions of the Bundaberg Organic Gardeners website have been disabled. This includes newsletters, comments, events and the ability for members to post comments or information to the website. The site will continue to serve as a source of information about the club for those interested in learning more or getting involved. Thanks for your interest!

Pumpkin seeds
Submitted by Wendy Fisher on Fri, 11/01/2008 - 10:12pm.The January newsletter featured the health benefits of zinc in the diet and a good source is from pumpkin seeds. Does anyone have a recipe on how to process them and turn them into healthy snacks?

Afternoon with Tom Wyatt in the Guardian
Submitted by Dean Hazelwood on Wed, 07/11/2007 - 2:10pm.Take a look at today's Guardian newspaper, it should be on your front lawn somewhere. Mine was under a bush and I almost missed it. In it you will see a nice photo spread and article for the Afternoon with Tom Wyatt, put on by the Bundaberg Organic Gardeners. There are some great photos showing the personalities involved and the sheer volume of people who turned up.
A very professional production. Nicely done everybody!

This, her first newsletter, had to be got out quickly to update and reassure members on the recent events that have taken place in the Club. Everyone, please support her with your comments and contributions. Afterall, it is YOUR newletter, your way of communicating with fellow gardeners.
