Bundaberg 2008 World Environment Day Celebration
CO2 - Kick The Habit! Towards a Low Carbon Economy is the theme of the 2008 World Environment Day. From 9:00am to 4:00pm on Sunday 1 June 2008 at the PCYC on Maryborough Street, Bundaberg you'll find stalls for local and organic food, energy efficient & renewable energy products, crafts and information, as well as live entertainment and free workshops on everything from solar cooking to composting and bicycling. Wander inside and check out a screening of one of several films about sustainability, listen to experts and local organisation representatives speaking on relevant topics and answering your questions. Entry is FREE! Best of all, we'll be offsetting the day's emissions so the entire event will be carbon neutral! Sponsored by the Burnett Mary Regional Group, Sea FM, Naturechain Magazine & the Bundaberg Bugle. Sponsors and participants are welcome, please contact us.
Feel free to distribute the attached flyer, produced by Naturechain Magazine, amongst your email networks! If you'd like to print and distribute it, you'll need to set your printer to size it to fit the paper as it's tabloid size. Also attached is a preliminary schedule that can be printed on the back of the flyer as a standard A4. Please note, the Naturechain ad/flyer is not approved to appear in any other print publication.
